In The Art Explorers Club, we believe that artmaking is about more than skill - it's about self-expression, creativity, and exploration. Our approach is centered on the individual needs and interests of each child, and we strive to create a fun and supportive learning studio that encourages exploration, artistic expression, and creative, innovative thinking.
Barbara Gini
Barbara is our founder and CEO - (Creative Experience Organizer). Barbara wasn't born with Silver Spoons, but a big box of pastels! An educator, sensory coach, author and entrepreneur for more than 20 years, she is happiest when she is surrounded by happy children and colorful, sparkly things! She has previously operated a home organizing company, an event planning & staffing company and a recreational arts program that featured her proprietary S.M.Art Kids™ Adaptive Yoga (Stories, Movement & Art) curriculum. She holds multiple education and wellness certifications and loves to help kids find and embrace their natural talents as they learn through storytelling and creative play.

Lauren Bruge:
Lauren is our co-founder and CFO - (Chief FUN Officer) and also Barbara's daughter and youngest of four grown children. Lauren is an infinitely talented preschool teacher and tutor. Since she was 4 years old, she's enjoyed experimenting with paint, glue and jewels, especially painting & embellishing clothing. She also enjoys painting rocks and furniture. Lauren previously worked in the Hospitality industry, and helped Barbara Manage her event staffing company. She is happiest when she is working with children and designing play spaces. She lives to celebrate Life and enjoys organizing children's parties and recreational programs that are fun and educational. She shines at helping children find the fun in learning through art activities and creative play.
